Mark has 30 years industry experience as a Wellsite Geologist, Operations Geologist, Exploration and Development Geologist. Worked with numerous operators in a variety of locations including the North Sea, Australia, PNG, USA, South America, Philippines, Vietnam and Indonesia. Supervisory experience in goal setting, systems and workflow implementation within company departments. Experience includes HPHT environments, tectonically stressed environments, marine and non-marine clastic reservoirs, carbonate reservoirs, fractured clastic and basement plays, synthetic oil-based mud systems, horizontal well placement and geo- steering, and deep-water operations planning and preparation. Skilled in working in multidisciplinary, multicultural project teams. Skilled in training and mentoring junior staff. Experienced in onshore and offshore operations (with platforms, floaters and jack-ups as well as tender assisted operations). Experience in air drilling and Mud Cap drilling techniques. Familiar with a number of geoscience software tools such as SMT Earth Pac, R-Web Operations Geology Reporting, GS Petrophysical Software, Landmark OpenWorks, Pressure Explorer and WellCAD.
Maggie Lawrence
Data Technician
Maggie Lawrence has 30 years’ experience in the O&G industry. During this time she has provided geotechnical support to Geologists and Geophysicists, initially providing cartographic and drafting services for maps and logs. As software tools were developed, Maggie’s skills were migrated into utilising software tools across a large range of geoscience disciplines. She is familiar with Arc GIS global geospatial software, numerous seismic interpretation packages, as well as widely used geological modelling and Petrophysical software tools. Maggie has gained extensive experience with seismic data loading, well data conditioning and loading, spatial data management, map creation and report compilation. She is skilled in regional project data research and collation, leads and prospects, spatial portfolio management. She has provided data systems setup, farm-out and farm-in data room configuration and assistance and also provided support during intensive drilling and seismic data acquisition campaigns. Maggie also assists with the preparation and compilation of a variety of reports including non-proprietary studies, final well reports and other business administration reporting requirements.
